I once heard that all the good (and some not so good) shows have seven main characters is a basic configuration. At the time, I think people were referring to Gilligan’s Island and Star Trek as examples.
So I thought of a writing assignment for ds106 (and now I can put it in the new Writing category — woo hoo!):
Create a seven-character team in the tradition of Justice League, Murder by Death, or The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and write a brief treatment for a potential movie or TV pilot.
