I was hoping someone in our class would as I wanted to learn more about it, but didn't think it was the best tool for my summary of learning. You already had your mind map completed, yet experimented with this form of presentation for the purpose of your final reflection. Well done! Where do you find the time?? Lisa,

I was (only) a non-credit student in this class, so maybe my opinions don't "count." Still, if your presentation went on for 15 minutes, I didn't even notice. When I am engaged in learning something that is fascinating to me, the time zips by. Thanks again for your participation and your insights during this class. I've learned as much from you as from the instructor and guest speakers. Sometimes we go over time limits, but if what we are saying is relevant and interesting then there is no reason to worry. Yes, you went over time but not once was I watching the clock wishing it was over. You did great! I don’t think that you need to apologize at all. I normally don't "feel" this much in public, but that really does make me feel better. :-) Thank you, Rodd. I normally don’t “feel” this much in public, but that really does make me feel better. :-)

It's quite a tightrope walk to work with the stringent requirements of timed slides whether following an Ignite or Pecha Kucha format. Your presentation stands as a demonstration that you've learned many things not only from the course, but in the experience of thinking publicly about what you've learned. Kudos for stepping out on the rope Lisa. Just as I'd never time the Walenda's walk across the chasm, I'd rather focus on the grace with which you've accomplished the task. As another who attempts to model risk-taking, Thanks! ;-) Your reflections on the course, though highly personalized, ring true for me too, Lisa.
