Entries were competitive, so it&#8217;s real, but I&#8217;ve had to pay \u00a37.99 plus shipping to America to see it in print. They didn&#8217;t tell me my story got in &#8212; I had to return to the website to see if I won the contest or got published or neither. An interesting process, publishing, but I&#8217;m grateful for the opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>I read the submission rules, and copyright is mine with right to publish elsewhere. No one else will publish it, of course, but it does mean I can publish it here.
